Chuck Meklensek - Head Coach
Email Coach Chuck		Chuck is a level 3 NCCP coach and has been coaching professionally since retiring from swimming in 1988. Coaching History In over 20 years of coaching, Chuck was the age group coach for the Pointe Claire Swim Club for 2 years before taking on the Head Age Group Coach role with Etobicoke Swimming in 1990. He was named the Head Coach of Etobicoke in 1997 before taking on the General Manager and Marketing Director positions for ESWIM in 1999. After retiring from coaching in 2001, Chuck came back to coach for 4 years with the Region of Waterloo Swim Club in 2004. Chuck has been the Head Coach of Club Warriors since its inauguration in 2008.  Chuck welcomes the challenge of helping bring the Club Warriors to the forefront of competitive swimming. Associations Chuck has been a member of the Ontario Swim Coaches Association Board and the Central Region Coaches Representative to the OSCA Board. He has been assistant coach of Provincial and National teams to California and Sweden as well as Head Coach of Provincial and National Teams to Montreal and Italy. Chuck was also the Head Coach of the 1997 Ontario Canada Games Team. Highlights Chuck coached two swimmers to the podium in the 1998 Commonwealth Games. He has coached swimmers to nine different National Age Group Relay Records, coached swimmers to the top 10 in TAG over 250 times as well as led Etobicoke to 8 straight Provincial Age Group Championships and to six 1st place finishes in the National Age Group Team Rankings. In 1998 Chuck received Ontario's Coach of the Year Award for the 13-14 year old girls age group.  In 2011, Chuck led Club Warriors to the Ontario Small Team High Point Award at the 2011 Long Course Provincial Championships. About Chuck Chuck has 3 daughters that swim for Club Warriors and an aspiring 18 month old daughter. Chuck is the President and CEO of Clevernet Solutions, a software development firm located in Kitchener-Waterloo.  Clevernet Solutions has close ties to the Swimming community, having developed systems for Swimming Canada and the Canadian Swim Coaches Associaion as well as developed Streamline Sport, a sport club management system.
