CW Wins the Waterloo Region Team Challenge Cup: Highlights include 34 swimmers with 100% best times, 50 with top 8 finishes, new Regionals and Festivals qualifers and a new club record in the 10&U Girls 50 Free by Jessica Dreghici.

Warriors 2nd at Winter Skills & Thrills: Fifty-one swimmers from CW's Advanced, AG1 and select AG2 swimmers competed in the GMAC Winter Skills & Thrills and placed 2nd out of 8 teams.

Eighteen Warrior swimmers Canada's capital region to compete in the Ontario Winter Festival Championships and finished in 13th place on both the girl's and boy's score sheets. Alex Rusu grabs a silver medal and breaks 2 club records in his first Festival meet.

Twenty-four Club Warrior swimmers attended the 2018 Ontario Winter Age Group Championships (Sr. Provincials) and finished in 7th place overall!

On February 2nd, 70 CW swimmers between the ages of 9 and 16 travelled to London for a 2 ½ day short course swimming extravaganza and placed 4th out of 28 Western Ontario teams!

The weather was fantastic and so were our CW athletes in the AG2, AG3 and AG4 groups who
travelled to the impressive Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre on the weekend of January 19-21 to
compete along with more than 1000 swimmers from around the province.

Club Warriors Elite and Junior Elite Groups travel to the Markam Pan Am Pool for a 3 ½ day meet and deliver impressive results despite being tired and sore.

On December 3, 2017 our very own Club Warriors organization hosted its very first officially-sanctioned swim meet at the University
of Waterloo PAC centre. The meet was intended for newer swimmers with AG1 and Novice swimmers competing.

Club Warriors’ annual trek to the friendly confines of the Wilmot Memorial Pool was well worth the travel. CW claimed a total of 209
medals, plenty of PBs, and record-breaking swims.

On the weekend Of January 20-22, members of Coach Ken's groups (AD2/AG3) travelled down the
401 to compete at possibly the top facility in Canada – the TPASC- the legacy pool to the Pan

Club Warriors' swimmer, Ian Friesen, came away with 5 medals (not including 400 results) for
his efforts at the MAC Invitational, held at the Pan Am Pool in Markham. Ian was named the Top
13 year old boy for the 3.5 day meet

Club Warriors made what is now Their Annual Pilgrimage to the Pointe-Claire Invitational on
the weekend of December 9-12. A bus load of determined CW swimmers made the 7 hour trip to
Montreal to compete against some unfamiliar faces.

Swimmers from our Novice and Age Group 1 Programs competed on Sunday December 5th at the
“Novice Development Swim Meet” hosted by the Burlington Aquatic Devilrays (BAD). The meet
featured events of 25m, 50m of all four strokes. There was also a "distance event", the 100m

Over 100 CW swimmers took to the pool in Wilmot this past weekend. To say the meet was a
success is a huge understatement. Not just the total number of points that the team scored,
beating all other teams combined, but also the quality of our performance times
